    GEORGE D. NIXON.
    George D. Dixon [sic] died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joseph Gibson at 3:30 p.m. last Monday.

    Early Saturday morning he was prostrated by a shock of paralysis at the Shehawken House where he boarded. During the forenoon he was taken to the home of his daughter in West End, where he remained in semi-conscious condition until relieved by death, as above stated.

    Mr. Nixon had been a resident of Hancock for the past twenty-two years, and had been employed at the station ever since its erection, some twenty years ago. He was born in Albany sixty-five years ago, and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Gibson and Mrs. Warner Randall of Erieville, Madison county. His wife died about ten years ago.

    The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the house. W. Edward Babcock, of the Baptist church, officiating. Interment in Riverview cemetery beside his wife and daughter.
