George was born on the ocean en route to America. He was chr. 17 Nov. 1751. Me moved from Lancaster Co. Pennsylvania to Mason Co. Kentucky where he died in 1814. His trade was that of a gunsmith, supposedly manufacturing rifles for the Revolutionary War. Her served in the war under the leadership of Capt. John Hopkins in the 5th Bat. of Washington Co., Pennsylvania Militia. According to an entry in the World Family Tree (Family Tree Maker) Vol. 3 #2234, George's father was Andrew Conrad and it shows that George was born Nov. 7, 1757 and had a brother John born April 19, 1764 and died April 21 1834.
