  3. Obituary.

    Published in the Ingham County Democrat on Wed. Oct 20, 1909 p.1, col 3 - George H. McIntyre, a resident of Ingham county for over 50yrs and for several years a prominent republican politician, died at Ann Arbor last Fri nite at 10pm of paralysis caused by an abscess on the brain. Funeral services were held at the family home in White Oak the following Sunday morning with interment at Howell. Mr.McIntyre was born in White Oak in 1859 & has lived in that vicinity & in Lansing all his life. He has been supervisor of his township, candidate for county clear, county drain commissioner & a clerk in the auditor general's office in Lansing. He was a Mason & a Woodman. Deceased is survived by a widow, 3 sons & 3 daughters, one of the sons resides in Lansing.
