    GEORGE E. LOHNES
    George E. Lohnes, 65, well known resident of Bennington, who was employed at H.M. Tuttle Co. here for 20 years before retiring five years ago, died at the U.S. Veterans Hospital in Albany Sunday. He was a Veteran of World War I, having served overseas with the U.S. Army.
    Mr. Lohnes was born in Pittstown, N.Y., May 6, 1892 and received his education in the Pittstown and Hoosick schools. He married Margaret McDermott at Bennington and she is now deceased.
    In his long association with the Tuttle Company he had come in contact with many in this area, who will regret to learn of his death. He had been in frail health for the past five years.
    Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Maude Varin, Bennington; one brother, Walter Lohnes of Hoosick; a stepdaugther, Mrs. Elizabeth Ceceri, Rome, Ga.; also nieces and nephews.
    The funeral will be held from Mahar Funeral HOme Wednesday at 2 pm. The Rev. Canon Norman B. Godfrey will officiate. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral
