Jean Colon Laviolette was a name which appears in Kaskaskia records. His wife was Catherine Exipakin8ca [native American], their son Michael baptized 4 Oct 1692; Jacques born 12 May 1797, baptized next day; Henri baptized 27 Nov 1798, one month old. There was a Francois [LA COUR], native of Paris who was drowned at Natchez, buried on 31 Mar 1739 at St. Francis Church, Pointe Coupee, LA (PCP-1, 17). Another family of Nicolas LACOUR lived there.
