    "Johnson, George. He m. (rec. Stratford) 4 Jan. 1694/5, Hannah Dorman. She was dau. of Edmund, b. at New Haven, 1 Mar. 1676/7. He d. at Stratford, 2 Jan. 1714 [1714/5]; she d. in 1724. Adm'n granted, 2 Feb. 1714/5, to Thomas Leavenworth and Hannah Johnson; three sons and five daus. Hannah was appointed guardian, 4 May 1715, to Robert, Margaret, Joseph and Thankful. Thomas Leavenworth was chosen guardian by John, 2 Feb. 1714/5, and appointed for Hannah and Elizabeth.

    His son John's estate was distributed in 1767 to: bro. Joseph; sister Margaret Bunnell; sister Thankful Baldwin; sister Elizabeth Upson; children of dec'd sister Mary Stratton; Sarah Chatfield, only surviving child of sister Hannah Wooster; Joseph, Jr., and Ephraim, legal representatives of bro. Robert, whose share they had purchased."
