Mrs. E. Howard, 3 Vermont avenue, has been notified that her son, Flight-Lieut. G. E. Howard, has been missing since Thursday, September 26. It is known that he was stationed near Dunkirk, and it is surmised that he may have been lost at sea. Lieut. Howard was 22 years old. He had just finished his university course when he joined the C.O.T.C. Having completed his training with that unit, he joined the Royal Naval Air Service, and went overseas two years ago. A year ago he was wounded while flying in France, and after some time in hospital he came home to convalesce. In January last he returned overseas.
