    Calhoun Falls - George Pierce Edwards, 76, died at his home, 114 Seneca St,, Saturday after a long illness.
    He was born in Abbeville County, a son of the late arch and Margaret Freeman Edwards, natives of Abbeville County.
    A retired railroad trainman, he was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
    Surviving are his wife, Mrs. eula Brough Edwards; a daughter, Mrs. Clyde Link of Calhoun Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Julian Fiske of August, Ga., and Mrs. Callie Williams of Johnston; three brothers, W. P. Edwards of Calhoun Falls, Or Edwards of Eldorado, Ill., and Dolly Edwards of Grovetown, Ga.
    Funeral services were conducted at Calhoun Falls Methodist Church today at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Ralph Lawrimore and the Rev. Marvin Cash. Burial was in Brough family cemetery near Mount Carmel.
