    George S. Babcock, 67, of Rte. 6, Janesville, Parker Pen Co. employee nearly 40 years, died Monday night in Mercy Hospital after several months illness. He was a Janesville resident since 1923.
    Born in Milton May 18, 1900, he was the son of Allie and Effie Addie Babcock. He was graduated from Milton High School in 1918 and attended Milton College.
    In World War I he served in the Student Army Training Corps. He worked in the accounting department at Parker Pen Co.
    Lois Atkinson and George Babcock were married in Rockford, Dec. 17, 1925.
    Surviving are his wife; one son, George W., Janesville; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Wallace Ristow, Janesville; one brother, Elston, Janesville.
    Services will be at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Overton Funeral Home, the Rev. Walter Holliday, Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon from 3 to 5 and this evening from 7 to 9.
