Gary Howard Wardwell, age 70, passed away April 24, 2004 in Fallon, NV. He and his wife had lived in Fallon for 3 years, moving here from Elko, NV. Gary was born March 5, 1934 in Cedarville, CA to Ernest and Elizabeth (Wolf) Wardwell. He graduated from high school in Logan, UT. Gary was a truck driver. He worked 15 years for Pacific Motor Trucking, 10 years for Wells Cargo, and 11 years for LEMM Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gwen Weaver. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ruth Wardwell; son and daughter-in-law Walter and Donna Wardwell, all of Fallon; daughters and sons-in-law, Rosemary and Danny Rials, and Jeanne and Mark O'Doan, all of Sparks; daughter Barbara Wardwell of Reno; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Yvonne Wardwell of Beatty, and Richard and Dolores Wardwell of Rio Rancho, NM; grandchildren, Duane, Tamara, Blake, Kayte, Jackiy, Anthony, Nicole-Natalie, Scott, Bryan, Rachel, Whitney, Riannon, and Luke; 2 great grandchildren, Bryson and Alexander; and brothers, Mark Wolf, Tony Wolf, Greg Wolf, Ernie Wardwell, and Lance Wardwell. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at The Gardens Funeral Home.
