Graduated Officer Candidate School Ft. Sill, Oklahoma 1951, served as artillery officer until 1954. Taught high school at Eagle Lake High School from 1958 until 1965. Master's Degree in education from University of Houston 1965. Served as Katy High School teacher and counselor, and principal of Katy Junior High School from 1965 to 1974. Opened and was principal of West Memorial Junior High School from 1974 to 1979. Principal of Taylor High School from 1979 to 1985. Area superintendant form Katy Independant School District from 1985 to 1989.
