  10. Her mother's name is uncertain. No birth record was found on the Odessa website.
  11. The only source found stating that Friederike is the daughter of Johann Leicht is from the book, "The Fred and Eva Aman Family" by Margaret Freeman. But her maiden name was Leicht, and she immigrated with Johann Leicht and some of his other children. Later, Friederike and her husband lived next to Johann who lived with his daughter, Magdalena, and husband Christian Goehring, in the 1900 US Census, indicating a likely relationship.
  12. She immigrated with the Leicht family: "Friedr'a, 18" on Passenger List.
