Frederick Laskey Aunger, 11 July 1861, Minnessota Mines, killed by falling timbers in the mine.
- In the 1851 UK census, His birthplace was given as St. Brewer. There is no such parish. It is St. Breward.
Frederick, Martha and their children were living in St. Ives Parish, Cornwall in 1861. Frederick was 25 and an engine driver at the copper mine. His wife, Martha, was 32; son, John, was 5, born at Liskeard; daughter, Elizabeth, was 2, born at St. Ives; and son, George, was three months old, also born at St. Ives. Frederick must have left England immediately after the census was taken, because on July 11, he was dead in Michigan, USA. His brothers, John and Edwin were already there. I have not been able to locate a burial place for Frederick.
