Fred E. Rickerson, of Russell, passed away at the Warren General .Hospital Sunday evening. He was born August 4,1858. Surviving are his wife Blanche Rickerson; three step sons ,Alan, Glenn and James Shephard, of Kinzua; one step daughter,Mrs. J.W. Glass, Kinzua; one sister, Mrs. Jennie Burnett, Corry; four brothers, Benjamin Rickerson, Corry, Dell Rickerson, Fentonvillle, Ed Rickerson, Russell, and Binnie Rickerson. The body was removed to the Peterson Funera Home where friends may visit, and from where services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be at Pine Grove cemetery at Russell.

Russell, April 5—Funeral services for Fred Rickerson were held from the Peterson Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon with Rev. J. H. Clemens, pastor of the Grace M.E. church, officiating. Bearers were the following nephews of the deceased, Gerald, Theo, Ora, Ralph and Charles Rickerson and Jay Wiltsie. Interment was in the Russell cemetery. Relatives present from a distance were: Mr. and Mrs. James Shepherd, Mrs. Z. Sheldon, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sheldon, of Kinzua: Glenn Shepard, of Corry; D. J. Rickerson and Ralph Rickerson, of Fentonville; Mrs. Scott Price, of Frewsburg; Ed Rickerson, Treva Rickerson, Mrs. Gerald Hale, Mr. and Mra. Jay Wiltsie, Ora Rickerson, Mr. and Mrs. Theo Rickerson, of Russell, besides many neighbors and friends of Russell, Warren and vicinity.
