  1. ↑ 1.0 1.1 1.2 KILBOURNE, IL - Franklin Delbert Gilmore, 72, of Kilbourne passed away at 7:50 am Tues., June 17, 2008 at his residence.

    He was born March 21, 1936 in Kilbourne the son of Steven and Edna Wise Gilmore. He married Lorena "Rena" Cowin Sept. 14, 1963 in Kilbourne and she survives.

    Mr. Gilmore was of the Baptist Faith and a Caterpillar retiree. He had worked for Caterpillar for over 30 years as a tool and die maker.

    In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Dennis Gilmore of Kilbourne and Charles (Dawn) Gilmore of Petersburg and one daughter Jennifer (Dale) Ames of Mechanicsburg, IL. Two grandchildren and one sister, Betty Reuther of Washington, IL also survive.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

    Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Fri., June 20, 2008 at the Kilbourne Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thurs. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Hospice.
