Secretary of Portland Yacht Club in 1913.

World War I Draft Registration Card says he was tall and of slender build with blue eyes and light hair.

1945 Portland Directory shows his Printing business at 32 Exchange Street.

"Frank W. Wardwell, 74, veteran Portland printer, received an award for 25 years of perfect attendance at the final meeting of the season of the Lions Club in the Hotel Eastland Tuesday noon." Portland Press Herald 02 July 1947

"Firemen Extinguish Umbrella Blaze" Responding to a Saturday night alarm, Portland firemen were confronted by several moose and deer heads and a smoking umbrella stand. The fire was at Frank W. Wardwell's printing shop, 32 Exchange Street. The call came from Box 45 at Middle and Exchange Streets at 11:19 p.m. Recall was 16 minutes later. Its cause undetermined, the fire was said to have originated in a metal umbrella stand," Portland Sunday Telegram 16 February 1947
