    Death of Frank H. Rupert. .
    Intelligence has been received at Mumford of the death in Nebraska, near the Colorado line, of Frank H. Rupert, son of William Augustas Rupert, late of Dubuque, Iowa, whose first wife was Eliza Finch of Wheatland, in this county, and youngest daughter of Col. Ephraim Finch. A few months ago Frank left Western New York for Colorado in the vain hope that the climate of that State would restore him to health and strength, as he had for some time been suffering from a lung difficulty. But he grew gradually worse and
    died on Thursday last. He was born in Dubuque, Iowa, on the 7th of May, 1861, and as he grew to manhood gave great promise of a useful and brilliant career. He possessed a quick and active mind, was fond of books, of paintings, of flowers; and everything in art and science possessed for him great interest. To his parents he was dutiful and loving, and in his intercourse with his young friends and acquaintances he was courteous and considerate. His death at the early age of 20 closes a life whose promise was unusually brilliant. His brother Wells resides in Dubuque and a brother William is now in Caledonia
