Letter to Sgt. Fulmer, dated May 3, 1957 from McComas Funeral Home, Inc.:
On March 20, 1957, we were called upon to take care of the funeral services of your brother, Frank Fulmer. He died in the Wooster Community Hospital after being a patient for only one day.
The funeral services were held on March 22, at 2:00 P.M. from our funeral home, with the Rev. John G. Koontz, pastor of the Wooster Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Wooster Cemetery on a burial lot provided by Mrs. Iona Maag, manager of the St. Paul Hotel where your brother had been living.
Enclosd you will find the cards from the flowers sent by friends of your brother, also the page of the register for his visitation. Fulmer's financial resources were depleted and what money we will be able to collect is from the Division of Aid for the Aged of the State of Ohio, which normally allow $180. This does not cover the bare necessities of a burial since the opening and closing charges of the cemetery are $75.00 which we had to advance. I might add that unless Mrs. Maag had furnished the burial lot for Frank, he would have been buried in the public burial ground of the County Home.
Do you see fit to help us defray these expenses for your brother? If so, please make remittance to the McComas funeral home and accept our thanks in advance. I would certainly appreicate a reply to this letter.

Sincerely, Gaylord E. McComas.
