A. Russell Slagle (in Maryland Genealogies, on which this article is partially based) says that Margaret was the daughter of Francis and Grace Maulden. Presumably the other (apparently unpublished) source says that she was the sister of Francis Maulden. It is not clear if both sources are correct (she was both daughter and sister of a Francis Maulden) or if one source has misinterpreted the material.
