82, of Wayne on September 13, 2008. Born in Harrison, Arkansas he lived in Wayne for the past 42 years. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a pressman with Midland Press in West Orange. He was a member of Preakness Valley United Reformed Church in Wayne.
Beloved husband of Jean Jellema. Devoted father of Roy Jellema of Wayne, Linda Bruins and her husband John of Davidson, MD and Brian Jellema of Wilson, NC. Loving grandfather of Michael, mark, Melissa Macy and her husband Sam, Jeffrey, Benjamin, Nathan and Carly. Dear brother of Dorothy Westra of Pompton Plains and Gladys Tuit of Ringwood.
Funeral Services Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Interment Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, September 15, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. At the request of the family donations may be made to Preakness Valley United Reformed Church, Missionary Fund, 480 Valley Road, Wayne, NJ 07470.
