    Francis Franklin
    Francis Eugene Franklin, 83, North Richland Hills, Texas, formerly of Crosslake, died Thursday, April 22, 1999, at Bishop David Center in Hurst, Texas.
    He was born March 21, 1916, in Dodge Center to George and Isabelle (Weaver) Franklin. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Crosslake Lutheran Church, Crosslake.
    Survivors include a son, Vernon Franklin, North Richland Hills, Texas; two sisters, Irene Moreland, Pine Island, and Zelma Schlief, Virginia, Wis.; and a grandchild.
    His wife died in June 1997. A son, Darrel, died in 1971. Two brothers and four sisters also died earlier.
    Services were Monday, April 26 at Crosslake Lutheran Church in Crosslake with the Rev. Leonard Anderson officiating with burial in Pinewood Cemetery, Crosslake.
    Arrangements were with Koop Funeral Home, Crosby.
