    OBITUARY:
    Services for Frances M. (Ervin) Ice, 80, of Willoughby [Lake Co., OH], will be 11 AM Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

    Mrs. Ice passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Salida Woods Assisted Living in Mentor [Lake Co., OH].

    Born December 25, 1930 in Newport, [Campbell Co.,] Kentucky, she had lived in Willoughby since 1966.

    She was a member of The First Christian Church of Willoughby and the Wickliffe Senior Center. Mrs. Ice was employed as a waitress at the former Harley Hotel in Willoughby and later worked as a cafeteria aide for the Willoughby-Eastlake School system at the former Lincoln Elementary School and Willoughby Junior High.

    She is survived by her sons, Steven (Deborah) Napier of Hebron, KY, George (Jennie) Napier of Newport, KY, Kevin (Toni) Ice, Randy (Carol) Ice and Richard (Nicki) Ice, all of Mentor; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She also leaves her daughter-in-law, Daisy Napier of Newport, KY.

    Her husband, Robert E. [Ethan] Ice, passed away July 15, 2003. Her son, Frank Napier, parents, Frank and Goldie (Orr) Ervin, brother, Clifford Adams and sister, Myrtle Talbert are also deceased.

    The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Richard D. Norton will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Willoughby Cemetery [Willoughby, Lake Co., OH]. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Inc., 5786 Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060-1830.
