Harry Lyle has not been found in the 1916 census taken in Dauphin, Manitoba. See his notes.
Looking at the actual census records, whether there were two households or one is questionnable. The plan was to put mother Christina and Annie in one household and the Lyles in the other, but it didn't work out that way. I pity the enumerator.

The fourth reported child is a complete mystery. As far as I know, my grandparents only had 3 children. There are no birth or death registrations for James.
- ↑ I was advised within a week of her death that my grandmother died at Branson Hospital in North York (now a part of Toronto) on 13 December 1967.
- ↑ But she always said she was born in Port Perry.
