Obituary from The New Mexican - Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1991 Pg. A-6: FORREST F. BARRON, 67, of Santa Fe died Friday. The cause of death was not available. Mr. Barron was a retired engineer. He had worked with the state of New Mexico for 28 years. A memorial service is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Potter's House Christian Center. Burial to follw at 2 p.m. in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. BARRON< Forrest F., 67- A resident of Santa Fe for 34 years, died Friday, October 18, 1991. He is survived by his wifw, Mary Stone Barron of Santa Fe; daughters: Carol J. Palmer and Marmi Barron of Alberquerque, and Meg Barron of Pittsburgh, PA; sons, James Barron of Goldsboro, NC, Peter Barron of Rio Rancho, NM, ? Barron of Jupiter, FL; daughter, Ellie Lopez of Santa Fe; 14 grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Lipes pf Grand Junction, CO; brother, Paul Barron of Couer d'Alene, ID and nieces and nephews. Mr. Barron was an engineer with the State of New Mexico for 28 years, retiring in 1986. He served in the US Army during WWII, received the American Campaign Medal, European- African- Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. Mr. Barron will be lovingly remembered by many friends and acquiantances. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 24, 12:20 p.m. References
