Floyd was the oldest, and traveled back and forth to work inShreveport to support this mother and siblings. Floyd went on tobecome the Fire Chief in Shreveport. Vey was renting a room inhis house in South Highlands before his death. From my visits,I remember him as grey and balding, sitting in a large arm chairlistening to one of those old, wooden radios; always with alarge cigar. He never had children.
