Florence Ilene Miller

LIMA: Florence Ilene Miller, 91, formerly of Newark and Spencerville, Ohio, died 6 AM Saturday, April 28, 2012 in the Wyngate Senior Living Community at Lima, Ohio, where she had resided for eleven years.

She was born June 24,1920 in Spencerville, a daughter of Cecil and Mabel Shears Cain, who preceded her in death. On June 24, 1941, she married Ned Willis Miller, who died September 27, 2001.

Mrs. Miller was a graduate of the Central High School in Lima and attended Beauty School in Lima. She was a homemaker and had a flair for crafts and was a seamstress for her children. She had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Newark.

She is survived by three daughters; Share (Paul) Eninger of Waynesville, Terry (Dennis) Lange of Lima, and Beverly (James) Spencer of Kinston, NC: eight grand-children, Daryl (Susan) Lange, Columbus, Michelle (Barry) MaKinnon, Cumming, GA, George (Persephone) Eninger, Dayton, Andrew Eninger, Chicago, IL, Robert (Amy) Eninger, Dayton, OH, Cindy (Ali) Amirkhiz, San Marcos, CA., Dianne (Paul) Albert, Santee, CA. and Brian (Christina) Lawrence, of Davis, CA.; nine great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Makayia and Kassidy Lange; Charlotte and Grant Eninger; Luke, Connor and Trevor Amirkhiz; and Daphne Elam - Fabfance; four siblings, Dorothy Golden of Archbold, OH, Betty Reynolds, of Florida, Howard Cain, W. VA. and Dick Cain of Springfield, OH; and her sister-in-law, Frances Reeder of Spencerville.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Wednesday in the Thomas E. Bay tiff Funeral Home in Spencerville, Rev. Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial will be at 1 PM Thursday in the Newark Memorial Gardens at Newark, Ohio Friends may call from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday and after noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
