Pauline Hummel

BAIRDSTOWN -- F. Pauline Hummel, 81, of 206 W. Main St., Bairdstown, died at 4:50 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at Blakely Health Center, North Baltimore.

She was born Jan. 20, 1921, in Bairdstown to Charles and Mary (Stahl) Barringer. She married Roscoe M. Hummel in 1935, and he died Oct. 26, 1970. She married Charles Francisco on March 1, 1987, and he died April 24, 1989.

Surviving are two sons, Carey Hummel, North Baltimore; and Darrell M. Hummel, Bairdstown; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Annetta M. Bumpus; and brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Hummel was a homemaker and had been a finisher at NorBal Corp. and a clerk at Bowling Green State University.

She was a member of Bairdstown United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore, with the Rev. Paul Eichar officiating. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Twp Wood CO.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
