    This man is listed in the cemetery records as Ferdinand McCauley. Another contributor sent a correction for his name being Frederick. That may be, but if so there are a lot of records not correct. Usually when an error occurs only one document will have the same problem. So I am not going to change the name on this memorial. But if someone needs this information it is on the memorial.

    His death cert. under the name of F S McCauley. Father was John McCauley of Va. mother Unknown of VA. Occupation retired farmer. Lee McCauley of Ozark MO. was the informant. Death cert. listed cemetery as Confederate, but the Hazelwood Cemetery has him listed as Ferdinand McCauley. Funeral home Paxson Undertaking Co.
