Note from Janice Lumsden - My father's great aunt Fanny - very Large and needed a "block and tackle" to get out of bed - so the story goes - dad thought that her husband was a German spy!! had telescopes and camera's etc. - Dad thought that he may have returned to Germany in WW1. He is not buried with Fanny in Teddington cemetery.

Jean Tait said Wilhelmina Ellen Messenger b1859, was the very large one, not her sister Fanny Victoria b1866. Jean knew both these women, they came to tea quite often. They were Aunt Willa and Aunt Fanny. She would recognize them if she saw their photos.
