Proprietor of Buckeye Bell Foundry/The E.W. Van Duzen Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, which was the only bell foundry in the United States at the time. During the Civil War, they produced cannons to support the war effort. Ezra married Ann Eliza Dowd (daughter of Charles Horatio Dowd and Anna Eliza (Elizabeth) Miles) on 16 Oct 1844 at Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. Ezra's middle name is "Williams"; this comes from the maiden name of his Paternal Grandmother, Deborah Williams Van Duzen. Image Gallery
