CONANT, Dr. Ezra Jr., s/o Ezra Conant and Millicent Newell, b. Dudley 7 Apr 1751, m. 12 Jun 1773 Ruth Davis. [Note: gives him credit for being town clerk, one of the stints being after his death. Between the two stints, it says he "left town & returned". Given the death record in Oxford, it appears he left town and died, and his father Ezra was the town clerk, probably for both stints.]
