In Albion, Wis., Nov. 11th, 1863, of fever, Deacon Ezekiel S. Main, aged 53 years. Dea. Main was born in Petersburg, N. Y., where he resided until 21 years of age. A little previous to this time he made a public profession of religion. In 1830, he moved to Hebron, Penn., and was one of the sixteen members in the organization of that church. A few years after, he was ordained to the office of deacon. In 1853, he moved with his family to Albion, Wis., and soon after, with other members of his family, united with the church at Albion. Dea. Main was an unpretending, but an upright and faithful Christian. He filled his place in the church with a Christian spirit, and in his death the church has suffered a loss. He leaves a deeply afflicted widow, whose home was made desolate by death a few months since. A. R. C.
