Source:Chamberlain, George Walter. William Chamberlain of Billerica, Mass. and His Descendants, p. 111, "conjectures" that Experience is the daughter of Joseph French and Experience Foster of Billerica. They married in 1663 and their first recorded child was Joseph born 1667, but it is not reasonable that they would have had children before this, and that one might be named Experience after the mother. There is no proof presented, however, and there is not mention of a daughter named Experience in Joseph French's will of 24 Apr 1694 (NEHGR, p. 62:345).
