    The county courthouse will be closed Wednesday afternoon while rites are being conducted for Evert Crismore, Oklahoma County common pleas judge and former justice of the peace.

    Crismore died Monday afternoon following a lengthy illness.

    Bearers will be Clare Williams, John Perry, Claire Murphy, O.A. Cargill Jr, George Gray & Ralph Sewell.

    Crismore, who lived at 913 NW 35 and been common pleas judge since 1949, when he was appointd by Gov Roy Turner. He was a justice of the peace 17 years, and prior to that was a practicing attorney for 9 years.

    Fellow judges ordered the courts closed at the courthouse at noon Wednesday and county commissioners orderd the remainder of the building closed in respect to Crismore.

    He is survived by his wife, Mary. His parents Mr & Mrs O.M. Crismore, and a sister Mrs Elda Fisher.
