Everett Mason, 76, of Morrilton, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, in Fayetteville. He was born Jan. 18, 1928, in Birdtown to Chester and Bertha Foster Mason. He was a teacher and coach in Sidney, Atkins and Camdenton, Mo., where during a threeyear period his football teams enjoyed the longest winning streak in Missouri ? 29 games. He was superintendent for several public schools in Missouri. After retiring from education, he was for 15 years owner and operator of KRJT 100.7 FM/1410 AM in Bowie, Te xas. He was a member of the Downtown Church of Christ in Morrilton. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Williamson Mason. Survivors include two sons, Michael Mason of Fayetteville and Richard Mason of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, James Mason of Fairland, Okla.; and four grandsons. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Harris Funeral Home in Morrilton. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Downtown Church of Christ in Morrilton. The Rev. Mickey Burleson will officiate. Burial will be in the Martinville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Downtown Church of Christ, 100 W.
