  2. ↑ Evertt Dean Chaffin died at Crestview Care Center in Chardon, Dawes, NE. He died at about 8:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Everett had Emphysema, Diabeties abd Alzheimers. He was out of the hospital for two (2) days before he passed away. He was cremated and his ashes scattered at the cabin in the Big Horn West of Buffalo, Wyoming.   3. ↑ He had been in Crestview Care Center there with Altzheimer's a little over a year. Crestview has a lock-down unit for their Alzheimer's pattients, and Cedar had gotten to the point where he had to have that kind of care. The nurse that called told us she had gotten Cedar ready for bed and tucked him in, then went to get the meds for the patients. When she went back in a short time later to give him his medicine, he had passed away.
