Both servants earned $30/year.

1911 Canadian Census Maud Ormsby, born in Jun 1870 and widowed, is living on 60 Cordent St, Ward 7, York South. She has no occupation. She is living with her seven children: Edrie Maud, 22, Evelyn, 19, Norma Pauline, 16, Olive Willemina, 15, Marguerite, 13, Wilma, 9, and Ausborne, 7. Evelyn is working. Occupation is illegible.

17 Nov 1917 Evelyn Clarice Ormsby, 25, married John Byard Player, 31. Both lived in Toronto. John Byard was born in England, Evelyn Clarice in Severn Bridge. Occupations are illegible. JB is a Baptist and Evelyn Presbyterian. Witnesses are Julia Young of 225 ? Ave Toronto and Phoebe Powell of Toronto.

1922 Cecil Porter: My mother Edrie told me that she used to walk to the Muskoka Hospital to visit Evelyn . She remembered her as being very beautiful, and mentioned her large black eyes.

20 May 1922 Clarice Evelyn Player died at the Muskoka Hospital for Consumptives at age 29 years, 3 months and 9 days. The informant was Mrs. Ormsby, her mother, of Gravenhurst. She was buried on 25 May 1922 in Orillia. She died of pulmonary tuberculosis. She had been ill for 10 months.

Buried in same plot with William Ormsby.
