According to Bartholomew's will, Eve was not capable of maintaining herself "because she has not her common sences." He therefore arranged for an income on her share to be paid out yearly to Michael Zug, Barbara's husband who was to maintain and keep Eve. Her mother made no mention of Eve in her will, written an unknown interval before her mother's death in December 1792, which would suggest that the daughter may have died before her mother.
