Cancellar. p. 87.) Eustace de Arden and de Watford occurring previously in arrears of second and third scutage of Ric. I. Deceased in 1213, as by writ of his widow Hawysia in Watford and Silvesworth; the Earl of Chester being security for her not remarrying without license. (Clause Rolls, 1213, p. 155.)
