WHEELOCK, Eunice, d. of Ebenezar and Mary, [born] Aug. 31, 1739.
We know she was alive in 1801 since Eunice Wheelock is named in her father's will. So it is likely she is the Eunice Wheelock who d. 1818 per Milford VRs, p. 375. This is shown by Source:Wheelock, Walter T. Wheelock Family in America, 1637-1969, p. 21, with no explanation or evidence given. That Eunice Wheelock had a will (Worcester Probate 63671) calling herself spinster and leaving everything to a daughter Chloe Wheelock (singlewoman in executor's bond) who is not mentioned in the Wheelock Family book. No birth record, or any other record, of Chloe has been located. No actual connection of Eunice to Ebenezer's family has been found, as no other family member seems to be mentioned in her probate file, and the other Eunice Wheelocks who might also fit this death record haven't been studied enough to rule them out.
