Eugene Charles Hostler

Eugene Charles Hostler, 87, of 112 Vine St., Tiffin, died at 7:55 p.m. Fri day, Sept. 19, 2003, at St. Francis Nursing Home in Tiffin.

He was born April 27, 1916, in Sandusky CO to Willard C and Cora (Fease l) Hostler. He married Irma (Meyers) Hostler in Bloomville Nov. 3. 1945. S he survives. Also surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. James (Suzanne) Black of Tiffin; t wo grandchildren, Thomas R Elchert of Cincinnati and Nicholas R Elche rt of Mountain View, Calif.; a stepgrandson, Frederick J Black of Tiffi n; a stepgreat-granddaughter, Elisa Black of Tiffin; and a sister, Isab el Gottfried of Eugene, Ore.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Willard and Cora Hostler; and t wo brothers, Evan Hostler and Kenneth Hostler.

Mr. Hostler retired from farming and Tiffin Art Metal. He attended Amsd en and Burgoon schools.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, at Turner-Engle Funer al Home in Tiffin with the Rev. Scott Blevins officiating. Burial wi ll be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour pri or to the services Wednesday at St. Francis Nursing Home Chapel.
