Mrs. Ethel Wedmore
Mrs. Ethel C. Chambers Wedmore, 86, 2112 S. 10th St., died at a local hospital later Monday, following a short illness.
A nantive of Indiana she lived in Kansas as a young woman. She later moved to Omaha and then to Council Bluffs many years ago.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge 552 at Glenwood and the War Dads Auxilary in Council Bluffs.
She is survived by: husband J. Wesley Wedmore; four step-children, Laverne C. Wedmore of New Market, N.J.; Darwin W. Wedmore of Irvington, N.J.; Raymond P. Wedmore of Ft. Worth, Texas and Mrs Dorothy Richardson of Syracuse, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Raynor Funeral Home at Glenwood. The Rev. Lloyd Sapp, pastor of the South Side Christian church, will officiate.
Family and friends will gather at the Wedmore home here at 11 a.m. on Saturday to proceed to Glenwood.
A 12:30 lunch will be served at Glenwood by the Rebekahs at IOOF Hall there.
Burial will be in the Glenwood cemetery.
