'Esther Stauffer [daughter of Christian and Susanna (Buckwalter) Stauffer], b. 22 May 1757, Douglas Township, Montgomery County. d. 16 Mar 1833. She married Isaac Bechtel (23 Jan 1751-30 Apr 1820), son of George and Maria Bechtel.'

Esther's death date appears to be wrong - it contradicts both the statement (from the same source) that her husband had a second wife, and gravestones from Find-a-Grave.

He was taxed at Colebrookdale Township on 225 acres from 1779 to his death. He was unmarried when he sold land in Colebrookdale to Abraham Bechtel of Colebrookdale on 29 May 1773. ... He married secondly, Barbara Bitz (1764-1835).'
