Esther Price was born Sept. 10, 1766[1][2], the daughter of Francis Price and Esther Dunn. She married John Gustin of Augusta, b. 8 June 1759/60 son of Thomas Gustin and Ruth Owen in New Jersey sometime before the birth of their first child, Francis Gustin, on Feb 26, 1783.

Esther Price Gustin is listed in her father's will as deceased, and Francis Gustin is listed as her son[3]. Ester died August 24, 1793. She is buried in Frankford Plains Cemetery along with other family members[2] in one of the earliest burials in the cemetery according to Snell[5].

In Memory of Esther, wife of John Gustin, who departed this life, August 25, 1773 in the twenty-sixth year of her age.
