Warner Russell C, 84, of Fort Myers, Fla., died Aug. 18, 2004 in Fort Myers. He was born in Green Twp in Noble County on Nov. 3, 1919 to Curtis and Esther Warner. On Nov. 4, 1950 in Auburn he married Jean Hidy-Myers. He sold insurance and mutual funds for Life Insurance of Ky., and Florida Financial. He was owner and operator of Love's Ice Cream. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Victoria Hoskins, Savannah, Ga.; 2 sons, Russell II of Cape Coral, Fla., and Bill Myers of El Paso, Texas; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Services are private. ^ 8-20-2004

Warner Curtis R, 74, of R. 1, Avilla, died Oct. 25 in Garrett Hospital. Born July 8, 1895 in Green Twp, he was the son of Ellis and Minnie Veazey Warner. He married Esther M. Butler on Dec. 17, 1918. He was employed 32 years by Tom Day Construction Co. In more recent years he was engaged in farming. He attended Hopewell Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife; a son, Russell Curtis Warner of Louisville; a grandson. Funeral was Tuesday in Sheets Funeral Home, Churubusco. Burial, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. ~ 10-30-1969 + 10-25-1969

Warner Ellis, 85, a retired farmer, died Thursday at his home near here. He was a native and a lifelong resident of Noble County. Surviving are a son, Curtis, at home, one grandson; and a sister, Mrs. Linnia Hathaway, in Florida. Services were Saturday in the Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. Burial, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. ~ 11-22-1951
