    LANOUX , ESSIE BERNADETTE---Died 12:50 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 1986, at Riverview Medical Center, Gonzales. She was 80, a native and resident of Gonzales. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, Gonzales, 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday. Religious services at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, Gonzales, at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Clyde Landry. Burial in Hopehaven Cemetery. Survived by five sons, L.P. Lanoux Jr., Long Beach, Calif., Curtis Lanoux , Baker, Virgil Lanoux , Wilbert "Shing" Lanoux and Earl Lanoux , all of Gonzales; a sister, Mable Maniscalco, New Orleans; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; . Preceded in death by husband, Lester Paul Lanoux Sr.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alcide Lanoux ; three sons, Martin and J.R. Lanoux and an infant; and two sisters, Bessie Bercegay and Lessie Melancon. Pallbearers will be Duane, Curtis Jr. and Douglas Lanoux , Thomas Marchand, Lynwood Abbott and Greg Richardson. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
