NOLTE, Ernest C. - Funeral service for Ernest C. Nolte, age 84, of 7149 Everson Goshen Rd., Everson, will be Fri. May 7 at 3 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Gooding officiating. Interment Bay View Cemetery. Mr. Nolte passed away Wed. May 5, 1982. He is survived by his wife Eva L.; 2 sons, Ernest E. & wife Evelyn Nolte of Everson, William R. & wife Tanya Nolte of Shelton; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Edward R. & wife Avis Nolte of Lacey; 1 sister, Clara Fassett of Olympia; numerous nieces & nephews and many friends. Mr. Nolte was a member of Lummi Island Grange; Pomona Grange; Washington State Grange; Charter member of Q. T. A., Quartsite, Arizona; lifetime member of Holstein Frisian Association; Western Farmers Association; Darigold Association and Grange Supply. Mr. Nolte was the son of George Nolte, a Whatcom County Pioneer. The family suggest memorials to the American Cancer Society or Nooksack Advent Christian Church.
