Erik Emil Gilberg left the port of Gothenburg, Sweden on November 23, 1906 Liverpool England on November 30, 1906 and arrived in the port of Boston Massachusetts on 10 Dec 1906 aboard the SS Cymic He went to live with his Aunt Ida Jonsson (his mother's sister) and her Husband Karl Gustave Berglund in Cameron WI 1910 Federal Census. He helped his uncle during the summers and worked in the logging camps during the winter. He moved to Minneapolis MN about 1912 and met Beda (I have not been able to locate a marriage license yet, their first son Allan was born in August 1914. In Minneapolis He work as a machinist at the Russell Grader Mfg Co. and clerk for the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha railroad and in about 1927 became a superintendent for Northern Pole Co. in Fridley MN. Hugo had Blond Hair and Blue eyes, according to Massachusetts passenger list.
