[Note: see also comments regarding the apparent misrecording of brother Joshua's birth. The date here, if correct, would imply two Ephraims, and is only 10 months before the birth of Ruth. The church records appear to be in the order recorded and appear to allow no ambiguity about the year. Combined with the pattern established by Joshua's record, this makes it almost certainly 1725/6, instead of 1726/7.]
