    "11. Sergt. Ephraim3 Booth (John2, Richard1), born presumably at Stratford, Conn., [say 1685], died there 27 Nov. 1733; … Administration on the estate of Ephraim Booth was granted, 1 Jan. 1733/4, to Sarah and Andrew Booth. The inventory calls him Sergt. Ephraim and states the date of his death. His widow Sarah was appointed guardian to the daughters Sarah and Charity, 2 Apr. 1734. Thomas Peet was appointed guardian to the daughter Rachel, 8 Feb. 1733/4, and she chose Nathan Peet for guardian, 2 Apr. 1741. Thomas Benedict, Jr., and Sarah his wife, and Charity Booth, all of Danbury, conveyed 2 Oct. 1752 to Andrew and Ephraim Booth, right from father Ephraim Booth, deceased. [Stratford Deeds, 10:178.]"
